i bought a red eared slider yesterday its in a 40 gallon tank it has everything needed its 5 inches but it refuses to swim its always walking on the bottom is that normal and i even bought reptomin flowting pallet food nd he waits till it drowns to eat it wut its always doing is scraping off the gravel from the left back corner and somethimes he stands on his legs and keeps his nose outside the wather is that normal behavior most ppl say its becouse its cold out n he senses hibernation help me
im thinking of get a turtle enclosure but im not shor if i should make a outdoors one or buy one and have it in my loung by the way i live in New Zealand that might change the enclosure i chose IF U DO HIT REPLY Thanks
