Actually. Theyre pretty good swimmers. Spending most of their life in the water if not basically of it (except when in a egg duh)
Dude that shut up to the dog was priceless!!
Common musks are a little more friendly and not quite as secretive as razorbacks. But it all just depends on what one you think looks the coolest. I like commons.
i tried this tub thing but my turtles didn’t like it so i moved them to a 20 gallon long tank(there 2 inches) n they loved it lol.
are common musk turtles better than razorback or the other way around? also where can you get a razorback for a decent price???thnx!
Razorback are better
ye if you get a floatin turtle dock they work great cos ya turtle can just swim on to it and sleep and you will have a lot more swimin area and you can fill the water up more
Cool, that was helpful. I may get a musk just not sure what kind yet… 5*!
Cleaning it in tank water will keep any bacteria that can grow on those pads. Problem is most people don’t clean these in tank water, and many just replace the pads. If you do always clean them in tank water, and then when you replace them, replace only one side at a time. This will help keep the beneficial bacteria in there. It will be ok, it isn’t as good as a canister with more bio filtration, but it is not bad.
